Tallow does have a natural scent. Some factors that determine the smell are the source and the rendering process.

Each batch of tallow is diligently rendered to deliver a product with nearly any smell. That being said, majority of batches are odorless, while some may have a faint natural smell.

Some Tallow Mama products are infused herbs or contain organic essential oils that offer a pleasant and subtle smell.

Tallow is naturally a shelf stable product. All products are made in small batches to ensure the highest quality.

I recommend that every product is used within eight months from the date of purchase. This information can be found on the label as well.

If your tallow products become contaminated with water they can develop mold. It is important that you do not allow water to enter product and that you store it in cool, dark and dry place.
